Decisions driven by community and patient needs

Community Care of North Carolina is led by a seasoned management team under the direction of a Board of Directors. CCNC is very much a locally-driven, bottom up organization. Both CCNC and its 14 associated networks are nonprofits focused on improving the quality and cost-effectiveness of care delivered to enrollees.

Though originally dedicated to serving the state's Medicaid population, several ongoing pilot projects are bringing the benefits of  medical homes to state employees, Medicare beneficiaries, and employees of private sector companies.
